2002-2003 3.5 N/A Build options
That's true. That's another instance that manual transmission and a "measly" 300 hp is a good idea. It really all depends on what you are building the car for. I just don't see the Maxima's platform a good one for a road course. For leisure, sure, but for racing, I'm not too sure. Anything is possible. Only thing it that it's hard when the car is built as a front wheel drive with all the weight up front.
alright i kinda get where this guy is coming from, i Had a 2k3 and it's totaled.. the guy i was gunna sell it to dont want it and i ended up getting a 2k max ...
so i have myself a 3.5 just sitting there... as of right now im just finding places to keep the car until i get the motor out, and some parts people want then junk it. I miss my hp and trq... so im swaping the motors, selling the DEK, selling w/e parts, junking the car so all that money plus about 300 maybe will be for the motor swap... if it all works out ... i will get that money right back =D
the 3.5 will be easier to get up to 300Hp at the crank!! not to be confused with whp... im also on a budget and will be doing the I/h/e mods plus a lil more here and there... but other than that i would be fine with that...
i/h/e on a 2000... idk if that even beats a 5.5gen stock.. but my excuse for the swap is for the mileage.. i have 67K on the 3.5 and 120 on the DEK... it only makes sense to go with the motor with half the miles on it
