Toruq spec for brake line to caliper?
Toruq spec for brake line to caliper?
Planning to DIY my 6th gen caliper upgrade this weekend and was wondering how tight I am suppose to tighten the nut on the brake line to the caliper? (keeping factory lines for now)
Pretty much just loosen the nut, take off old caliper, install new caliper, re-install line and bleed the system right? and 10mm flare nut wrench is recommended? Thanks
Edit: Forgot that I can't torque down that nut since I'm using a wrench so is it just hand tight then?

According to the fsm its 11-13 ft lbs of torque, but i don't know how you could get a socket on there. Hand tight plus a quarter turn should do. You don't want to overtighten brake fittings, i have learned that the hard way many times.
