y pipe + catback installation

Id like to avoid getting rid of my cat converter and replacing it with a test pipe. So i was wondering if i will see power gains from just getting a catback and warpspeed y-pipe. And for the y-pipe, do you have to replace the o2 sensors or just plug them back into the warp speed y pipe? Thanks!

you will see gains on an 00-01, not on an 02 or 03

Actually.... you will gain 7-10 whp from the y-pipe on a 5.5gen. Its not like slapping a y-pipe on the 3.0 but none the less you still end up with the extra power. I'm pretty sure the y-pipe install is in the how too's...

you dont have to replace your cat and the o2 sensors plug right into the new y pipe. I just installed my warpspeed y pipe yesterday and so far the butt dyno says decent gains on a 3.0. other orgers have actually dynoed like a 12hp gain if i remember correctly which is pretty good for the money
