Ran at the Track this past Friday again...
Just to give you a guys a idea, I have ran stock 15.3 at 90.xx mph.

Then adding a generic cone intake I hit 15.2 at 91mph but broke a engine mount.

I recently added a RT CAT, and with the colder weather I decide to run at another track tonight.

Well the track I went too is Alamo Dragway, 50yr+ old track. Everyone had serious traction problems and it felt like I was taking off in water. I did no changes to tire pressure or weight.

I tried lanching at 2500, 2000 I just spun. So I took off normal like you do on the street and just nailed it. It was the only way for me to get traction or I would just spin.

This is what I got for the best out of 3 runs.

15.5 at 94.xx mph
2.800 60fts

I hate that track, but didn't want to break another engine mount.

So anyways, where you think I am really running if I can get a good launch?

 

Did u notice any difference with the RT cat?? I assume it does more for cars with y-pipes. How do you like it so far??

 

What does a broken engine mount feel like? Is it something you should get fixed right away? Is it easy to fix?

 

I can't feel a difference with the RT-CAT. Probably with exhaust and ypipe I might, but not with stock setup.

 

Well, when the mount breaks, at least the one that broke on mine (rear mount), everytime I engaged 1st gear the exhaust, etc hit the bottom of the car.

 

Just the RT cat won't do a whole lot. I put on an RT cat after I installed a cattman y-pipe. There was a difference in high end, but nothing major...
