Has anyone here ever switched the regular ac/heater control unit for the digital one? This seems somewhat trivial, but my 00SE has the regular old school control unit and I would prefer the digital, I think it looks better and I want the ambient temp option.

 

Would be nice to have.

anything can be done with enough expertise and money. That said, I have never heard of a 5th genner doing it successfully. And there are 100 other threads asking this same question. And this one will now joint them in lock pergatory....
