I need a new passenger side airbag for my 2001 GLE Max. But the only one I can find in the same color match is from a 2000 Maxima not sure of the trim. But I was wondering if any here can help me out and let me know if this is still a plug and play or if I need to only get a 2001 Airbag? I've notice that there are places online that say 2000 - 2003 Airbag so would that work for me still?

yes 2000 and 2001 air bags are the same. i got a set of black air bags and seatbelts for sale. pm me for details.

Question tho maybe you or someone knows how would I know which airbag module would fit for my car? Any way of knowing without having to go and taking out my actual module?

Well I have a 2001 GLE rite now but I was wondering if I went and purchased a 00 or 02 , 03 Module would that work? Or is there like specific codes or models for each car? What about just getting my own module reset? Does anyone know how that works?
