screeching noise

The search function is down right now, but I'll try to tell my problem the best I can. When driving, I can hear what sounds like my front left wheel screeching. It occurs while accelerating or coasting, but not while braking. I'm guessing it has something to do with the brakes. My rotors are a little warped, and it sounds like the screeching happens at one point on the rotor? As the car goes faster, the screeching gets more frequent. I'm not sure if my brakes have these, since I haven't changed the brakes since I've had the car. But my first guess would be the metal thing that is on the brake pads that warns the driver the pads are getting low. I had always thought that these went off when I "broke?" though. Any help is greatly appreciated.

should be the brake, have the pads changed and rotors tuned.

I find no need for HAWKS or Brembos. I've had stock rotors for 86k miles and just replaced the pads with some Advanced Auto Parts ceramics. Very good stopping power and quick. Low on dust too.
