Ehh? Your typing to fast!

All you need to do is find a D2R 8000k color replacement bulb. You could go 10000k but that to me is way to blue. Just do a google search for D2R 8000k and D2R 10000k you should find several results.

You will lose much of usable light output, but if you must at least buy the bulbs from an org sponsor in the group buy section.

Yeah 6K is good. Its a nice whitish blue. On my '03 I made the mistake of getting 12K in the headlights and 8K in the fogs. It looks cool from the front, but they're not all that great. Visibility isn't good its just average. I wish I would have gotten 6K for both.

Anything above 6k is just stupid. 6k is already less output compared to 4300k.

8k rules imo. Looks so much better than stock and has a bit more "bling" than 6k. 6k is good too but from now on I will always go 8k. I do have to admit, however, the stock on my friend's i35 look SO much better than stock HIDs for the 5.5 gen...his even look better than my 8k currently. Maybe its the casing?

headlights are supposed to be bling?
i really dont understand...i always thought headlights were a safety feature so that the driver could see at night....and a headlight is good if does that well

and yes i know i sacrifice lighting for looks sooner. it's a choice i make. i also sacrafic performance for looks with my big rims. if i wanted the best lighting i would have stayed 'close' to stock.

bmw angel eyes mean anything to you? Those were stock and only there for the purposes of 'bling' but hey i guess bmw doens't know what they are doing. you know it's not like everyone is copying them adding lighting effect to headlights. oh snap audi, volvo, bmw all are adding bling to lights. it's the new 'style'

i feel that angel eyes are pointless and played out....people on here trying to look like a BMW then starting threads because they never seem to work right.

headlight mods are cool as long as they dont decrease the functionality of the headlight (cleared, blacked out, etc).

but thats just me thinking that headlights are kind of an important safety feature.

I'm going to have to agree with Jason (Sooner) on this one. Other drivers don't give a hoot what your stinkin headlights look like.

I would rather see farther so I could drive safer then have some stupid blue headlamps.

I think angel eyes are kind of cool, but the blue drives me crazy. Someone at my school has an HID'd toyota sienna, those BLUE lights blind me in the day, I would hate to run into that at night. Be considerate of other drives with headlight modifications, and the rest is up to you

I agree, I am running stock 4300k from a a6 and it is BRIGHT, I HATE seeing those fake *** projectors wanna be SOOOO blue I am hating but I wish they get pulled over. If you like the purple twinkle like the s2k, tsx, tl, bmws, go retro yourself a pair of projectors, we have a maxima not a civic!

True, BMW, Audi ... are adding bling to their headlights BUT they do it without sacrificing the output and safety of headlights. A set of E-code BMW or Audi HID projectors with or without auto leveling motors is in a completely different league than the 5th Gen reflector HID setups. The projectors get their color from the diffraction effect of the shields inside the projectors. The light is still 4300K white, it just looks blue/purple from outside the beam at a distance.

Adding bluish HID bulbs to a reflector design my make it look more rice (not Euro), but it doesn't help with visibility. After being disappointed with a 8KK bulb replacement, I retro'd my 2k2 reflectors with TSX projectors with color and len's mods to get a nice looking and practical lighting system. Cost $400, but it was worth it to me.

Stock is perfect for me. I like to be able to see and I don't give a crap about "bling". I am much more into the sleeper look. Keeps cops off your back too.
