can u swap 5.5gen with 6 gen suspenion

hey guys I shearched and didnt see anything new.

I know back in the day when the 5th gens just came out people were still usig the 4th gen aftermarket suspension with the 5th gen top mounts and that worked.

I wanted to know if you can use 6th gen suspenion on a 5th gen, more so 5.5

The 5.5 has a different abs sensor braccket( has to be bolted while the 5th gen just slips in, or the other way around)

But basically I want to know can I drop 6th suspenion on a 5.5 and/or what kind of mod would i have to do to make it work?

how are they different

THANKS in advance!!!

I don't know about the Front suspension, but the rear suspension of the 6th gen max is completely different, we have a beam and they have independent suspension.

What Dave said... neither front nor back will work. Independent rear suspension and the fronts won't line up at all.

Go with what is made for your car in terms of suspension, etc. That is something I wouldn't play around with.

you could check out the 6th gen caliper and rotor swap for some brake upgrade but only for the front search this and youll find some stuff.

Frankenstein suspensions are a pain in the ***. I converted my 2nd gen to a 3rd gen suspension so I can use 5-lug hubs etc. My alignment never was right, my passenger side camber would go WAY out of adjustment when going reverse. There are so many suspension options for the 5th gen on top of that. It's not worth the time and effort IMHO. Then you top it off with the fact that it just won't work using a 6th gen suspension.
