blows radio question

I have the notorious speaker cut out problem I know theres a fix for it but in my opinion its not even worth the time and effort. My question is I have a gxe kit and was wondering if a bose radio out of a pathfinder would work with the gxe kit since they are square double din radios. I know it would depend on the connectors and pin outs just wondering if anyone could confirm or deny wether or not this would work.
like this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99...fAudioQ5fVideo

Thanks guys for a bunch of useless info and no help at all and if the pathfinder radio didnt have speaker cut out problems then theres no problem and the radio wouldnt suck. I also plan on getting an aftermarket radio but dont have money hanging out my **** like some people. This factory unit is driving me nuts and you can pick up a pathfinder radio for dirt.

Well your complaining about a Bose radio, and you want to get another one ?

Looks like the same adapters as our stock unit but I would get a 00-01 Bose system just in case(your link does say 95-99 Maxima). I believe the 00-01 Bose units never had the cut off problem . I don't think you need a GXE kit if its a double din radio already, you should already have the brackets your bose unit hooks up to the climate control, right ?

Have you check the audio section ?

Ill need the gxe kit because my factory radio has the trim built into the radio the pathfinder does not. Im sure the brackets in the dash would work or I could fabricate them to work. The only reason I dont like the bose is because of the speaker cut out problem besides that Im happy with the radio. I havent heard anyone complain about speaker cut out with the other model stereos by bose. Im just looking for a cheaper alternative untill I can save up enough money for a double din navi or dvd player. I dont like the way the single din looks with shelf under it.

Just looking out for ya , the link you gave does say 95-99 Maxima. If you want to try it out lets us know how it works. I say look for a 00-01 Bose unit.

Yeah that was meant for an example I just thought alot of the guys like stock looking apperance and someone might have tried this versus buying a exspensive aftermarket unit. I may try to find one in a junk yard near hear and try it to see if it will work. Thanks good looking out.

I got a good deal on my aftermarket deck, and Im sure you can find a good one as well since black friday is coming up. Good luck with your search, if my Bose was still working I would offer it too you just pay for shipping. The Cd player doesn't work and the screen is scratch .

BTW how many baby seats do you have ? I got two

cool thanks man I got one right now but there might be another one in the making but with this economy and money being tight we might just wait a little bit. By the way sooner your dog is very handsome I love animals.
