I am doing a 6th gen brake conversion, need lots of help!!

I am doing a 6th gen brake conversion, I got the front right caliper, bracket, and rotor off no problem. The left (driver) side is a pain in my *** though. The caliper/bracket assy is off, but the rotor wont budge!

The other side took a few light taps, but i have tapped, beat on this thing, and whatever else for about the last half hour, do I need some kind of a puller to get this thing off the hub?

Any ideas GREATLY appreciated, I am running out of light.

Ryan,
Spray some wd-40 or pb-blaster and let it sit. Get a brass hammer and beat this this outwards. Turn the wheel to the right so you can get a better angle at the rotor. Also, if you can fit, get under the car and kick the rotor out. I've had to do this to my friend's cars once in a while.

My mechanic stepdad taught me this little trick, using vise grips in one hand, clamp them down on the biggest bolt or punch or whatever you have, and place it in between the wheel studs, and then get a BFH and beat on it in between each of the studs for a while, that should break up all of the corrosion in there, works for me every time.

Caliper Pin Question? URGENT

I took apart some 6th gen calipers to be sandblasted, and I am reassembling them now. I have one problem, the caliper pins seemed to all be identical when I removed them because they were covered in grease.

In reality, one of the pins is solid, while the other is solid as well, but has a recess in it, and a little rubber boot or something like that on it. Does it matter which way I reinstall these? If so, How shall I do it?

Thanks!

The rubber boot ones are your glide pins. One on top, one on bottom.

I have the 2 front calipers, and each caliper only had one pin w/ rubber on it. All of the pins have a rubber dust boot on them, but 2 of them have a rubber thing on the pin itself, the part that goes inside the caliper bracket. I need to know where these go.
