i picked up some 5led BA9s for my map lights, but i cant seem to get them to work,..i remember reading somewhere that wires need to be reversed because of the polarity,..is this all i need to do? --just pull the top off and splice into the wires and run them to the oppisite place it was going to? any help is appreciated..

try getting two segments of wire and connect them to the light, then push the other ends of the wires into the connector and see if it works.

Yes you just reverse the wires and it will work.
