Near Miss

On the way to work tonight i almost hit a deer so i swerverd off the road and nailed the curb or something and blew out my rear tire, its shredded.........
i hope the axle or anything in there is ok, ill find out tommorow, its alone in a parking lot all alone. man iam so pissed off now. just happened about 30 mins ago.

Shredded tire is better then a totaled Max or a deer through the windshield. Glad that your ok.

Speaking of tires.......I just had to get all new ones in the tune of $1k... My last set had less then 20k miles on them...prolly 15k.

Sorry to hear about it. Aside from the shreaded tire, were you able to see any other visible damage? Was it too dark to throw the spare on?

From the sounds of it, you may have damaged the rim along with the tire...you really won't know what else is damaged until you get the wheel off and look around.

Umm no, i dont have a spare, i drove it on the flat to a parking lot like 100 feet or so from where it happened , as stated in first post, alone all alone out there i had to leave her till morning. i got a ride home with a friend.

I know man, iam so depressed and my zoloft are failing me, iam gona lose it one day i tell ya.

and to make it worse, its raining and its about 25f out to make it funner to slide around

Ya know, it dont get any worse, on the way down this morning to get new tires , The freaking front driver side tire blows out on the way down <this is my friends car>, i mean wtf..... its -500C out and iam changing a tire on the side of a busy highway..... so finally i got my car in the shop and the rim is bent abit but not too bad to drive the guy said, i ended up getting Hankook optima 418s tires for $171.60 installed , they will do for now, its hard living paycheck to paycheck.

Easier said then done, this region is horrible for jobs, I only make $12 a hour at Cabela's so im kinda stuck there for now. and i just got the job there, havent been there 2 months yet.
