headlights cut out with turn signal

i was wondering if anyone has had the turn indicator switch go out? Mine has started to flash my headlights whenever you turn the signal off, like when it clicks back after you make a turn. I have 03 HID headlights and HID's in my fog lights and i don't like them turning on and off like they are when i use my turn indicator. it doesn't do it all the time, but a majority of the time. only time it does not is if i gently put it back in the middle after using it. anyone have any thoughts as to what might cause this? has anyone had the switch go bad, or anything? thanks for any help

probably a short in the wires...check the wires from when you installed the headlights

I've got a 2000 and my car does the same thing. I have ebay-TSX retrofitted HIDs with ballasts from a Mercedes-Benz. I think they're Hellas. I replaced the turn signal stalk assembly and it didn't solve the problem. I'm going to replace the entire combination switch assembly to see if that will fix the problem.

mine does it sometimes as well... 2000 with stock headlights

When I have headlights on, and turn using turning indicator, after the indicator "clicks" I think the headlights go on and off but I'm not 100% sure might just be seeing things

Wow I'm spurised it happens to ppl with stock headlighst. I thaught this was happening to me bcus I installed the after market HID's on my fogs and headlighst.

Anyway from the looks of it it does appear to turn on and off when this occurs. It is really annoying and this happen almost everytime on my car. Its a 00 i30 btw.

Let's figure this one out guys.

this is odd because i have the same setup....Mine dont give me any problems...like sooner said, check your wiring.....thats my only guess....Is everything soldered, heat shrinked, and wire loomed properly
