Window Visors???

What does everyone think about smoked acrylic window visors?

Just bought the Max. 02 Medium Silver. Living in South Jersey with the heat and humidity in the summer makes being able to leave the windows open some a great thing.

But, how's it make the car look?

Thanks.

I just got some for my '03. I think they'll look fine on my car cause my color is dark and I have pretty dark tint.

Haven't bought them yet. I think they might really help with the heat, but I don't want to make the car to look bad.

If you do buy some, get the in-channel weather tech window visors. The weather tech's are slimmer and don't stick out as much which makes it look better.

Good Tip.

Thanks.

I am going to keep my eye out so I can see what they look like before I go and buy something I'll regret.

Thanks everyone for the ideas and responses.

It's your car, do what you want. Not my taste.

Window tint can help with heat as well as opening your windows and using windshield shade.

you could always have them painted the color of your car and I think they look better.

True, window tint will/does help with the heat but does nothing when its pouring down rain and the car gets a little stuffy. Get them in smoke and do get the in gutter type. I've had mine for a yr now and it rained like crazy today so they do come in handy. My guards are smoked and they look fine to me.

Me neither. I wouldn't paint an expensive weathertech set, but maybe a $20 set from Ebay.

Interesting idea

Do those ugly sunroof wind visors allow you to crack open the sunroof a bit while parked for the heat and not worry about the rain or only side visors will do that?

Not really. I had one on my Integra and if the rain is coming at any sort of angle you are sitting in a wet seat.

These are the best ones to get. They take a few minutes to install or take off. I have them on my Max. You can buy them already tinted.

As long as you don't have your windows down past the window visors then you'll be fine.

Just go to the weathertech website to find pictures, just search for the maxima.

I'm near Cherry Hill. I think the Ebay ones stick on the outside where the weathertech ones fit in the track. Not sure if I can afford them yet, but it will be a while until the SJ humidity kicks in.

Sunroof visors make the car look nice and sporty. Not much of a fan of the side window visors though. Kind've makes the car look over accesorised.
