angel eyes and cleared blinker light

ok i was going to attempt hte clearing of the blinker. No prob or question there. My question is are Angel eyes out of date now. I know ppl were doing them years ago but figured if i have the headlights open to do the clearing i could get the angel eyes too. Are they out of style, kind of a yesteryear it was a cool deal or are they still going strong

Who cares what people think. Lambo doors are super played out yet people still get them. If you like them, then go install them. This year I think the "trend" is Audi LED running light btw.
Nonetheless, I still think Halos are cool.

I never got why people ask the org whether or not they should do pure aesthetic mods...

I think if you can get the LED mod done, do it. If not then the DDEs aren't a bad second. They still catch peoples eyes and i've had mine for about 4 years now, throw some HID fogs in and do the parking light mod and it looks mean coming down the street.

link to the audi mod

yea i know it is but i love the quote. I'm not basing my mods on what others think as long as i like them, i just didnt know if it was a old hat thing such as metal flake paint or parachute pants ( oh the days). Its funny you should mention the audi mod. I have seen the link asnd think it looks good. I was wondring if anyone did the angel eyes diy mod with the acrylic rod and dids that to make the audi mod. Mold the rod to fit in the front of the headilght and then do the little cuts on the rod with the dremem instead of say 10 leds in a row it would just be the angel eyes not in a cirlce but a straight rod....

I think you should stick with the made DDE instead of DIY because why go through all the trouble when you can have them nicely made.

I had angel eye halos. Now I have strictly Hid's. I switch headlights every now and then. If you like em then do it. They look real clean.

I don't think they are played out so much. People are still doing em. I just did em not too long ago...but I've been having problems with mine. The cold weather hasn't been doing me any favors.
