Do our 5th gen autos really shift around 5950 rpm?

I have been data logging some runs with logworks 3 and the innovate motorsports ssi-4 and it shows that the car shifts between 5934 and 5967 but the tach on the car shows around 6350 or so. Could this be accurate since the speedo is also known to be incorrect, especially at higher speeds? It reads the idle correctly showing 700 rpm once warmed up. Could my settings with logworks just be off? Anyone have experience with logworks and the ssi-4? I still do not have the speed settings for logworks figured out yet.

Your tach is going to be off at higher revs, that's just how it is.

Typical WOT shifting as follows.
1-2: 5300-6000 RPM
2-3: 5500-5800 RPM
3-4: 5600-5800 RPM

That's a rough estimate on the RPM, you can check for yourself using this chart:

This was news to me, is there anyway to adjust say using consult II? I would prefer it to shift at around 6500 if possible.

Nope, don't believe you can.

Best you can do is get yourself a SupraStick, or do shift_fast.

Are you judging when it shifts solely by your tach? The tach is going to be off at higher revs.

mine reads 6300+ as well, but logworks is probably giving a more accurate reading of around 5900 rpm. it seems that our gauges are off.

Mine upshifts at full throttle anywhere from 6000-6300 as indicated on the tach.

the issue is that our tach says 6000-6300 when it shifts but it is actually shifting at under 6000 rpm.

Hence the use of the word "indicated". I might mention the rev limiter does kick in on my car at an indicated 6700 rpm.

What is funny is that according to my GPS, my speedometer actually reads 1 mph slow at 60. Go figure.

Not yet. Still debating whether or not it is worth it with 143k on the transmission.
