it will help you out on your launches. You will be able to launch at a higher rpm since the stall speed will be higher. But, you don't want a TC with a high stall speed since it will affect normal driving adversly. If you get one with a reasonable stall speed, it will be fine.

Do a search for Don's VB(valve body mod). Before the TC, this is probably the more logical first tranny mod since the tranny need not be removed for install.

not true i have the levelten TC with a 3100 rpm stall speed and daily driving has only improved no loses! so thats a bunch of crap! it helps out alot esp with the vb mod as well.... call levelten and talk to them if ur worried about ur stall speed go with a 2800 or less but it wont make much of a difference since ur stock stall speed is 2100-2200 rpms.... have fun!

Does a higher stall TC matter if you don't torque break?

in regular driving it feels like u r slipping the clutch until about 3k.... which in my opinion is better... but that might be just me.... also i have noticed when i am sitting at a light on level ground it doesnt ease up when u take ur foot off the brake it just sits there..... but if u flash ur TC (torque brake to 2000 rpms and then flooring it at the same time releasing the brake) it takes off like a mad man! i love it.... if i want it to i can make my tires spin like crazy.... i think it was worth the money but dont forget u have to drop the tranny so figure that into ur cost as well! sorry if i didnt answer ur question elaborate more please
