odd bose question

yay first thread!

anyways, i have a really weird issue going on with my stock bose....

while listening to a cd (newer, not severely scratched or anything), after 10-15 minutes, different songs will just start skipping, and i'll get a ERR message

any idea on what this could be? also, what does the CD/CHG button mean? is this multi-disc? if so, this isn't working properly either

thanks!

Search CD ERR, it's relatively common.

Do you have the 6 disc changer? If not, disregard the button.

You would have to check in the trunk if you have a cd changer..

hmmm looks like mine isn't quite toasted yet..

i suppose i'll try disconnecting the neg. cable for an hour and see if that helps any

otherwise, if i were to replace the deck, what do you use to fill up all the left over room?

The 5.0 gen GXEs came with a single din radio, and nissan makes a part that coverts the rest into a pocket. IMO that looks the best. Try www.courtesyparts.com for it. There's also aftermarket dash kits, but I don't think they look as good since they don't match the lines as well.
