I came across a HID headlight conversion kit for $800. That's alot of money, but cheaper than the previously reported $1,000 or $1,500. If interested, see http://www.fourthrock.com/maxima/ and click "Parts List".

Wustylez,
I checked with local dealer on the AT shifter. They had a parts listing; therefore, they can order it. Dave at South Point Nissan didn't have any yet.

Not doubting - just a word of caution

I'm not quite sure how this topic got in this thread, but...be careful. They have had a part listing for the AT tranny ASSEMBLY from the Anniversay Edition for a long time - that's the whole kit and caboodle - meaning you are taking out and replacing the entire shifter assembly - not just the ****. Check on the price. If it is $300 +, then it's for the entire assembly. If your local dealer has JUST the shifter ****, then that's fantastic, but be completely sure before you order one. I'm not saying that they don't have it, I'm just saying that I was all excited because I thought my local dealer - and then Dave from Southpoint - had what I was looking for - until I realized what it was.

blackY2Kmax,
I checked with local dealer (Peachtree Nissan in Atlanta). They said they would sell just the ****. It would be a special order part.

Wustylez,

The parts guy pulled up the fancy diagram, pointed to the ****, I nodded, he went to another screen and pulled up the price as $48. He said it would need to be special ordered. Would take 3 days.

Whether or not the warehouse (or whatever they call the special order place/holding facility) has them is another question. This may be another scenario like the door sill plates, where they were listed but you still couldn't get them.
