Drivers Window?

I stopped to get gas this morning in my 01 max. The window went down no problem. When I pushed the switch to make it go up I heard a clack clack clak sound and it only went up about an inch, stopped, then went back down automatically. I waited a few minutes for the car to warm up, same thing. I simultaneously pulled up on the window while pushing the switch. The window went up, clacking all the way. I'm afraid to put it back down! Is this going to be expensive to fix?

Maybe it came offtrack or something... mis-aligned on the rails or something.

remove your door panel and see close up if you notice anything unusual. Better to be a bit more informed before you take your car to a shop

Sounds like it popped off track and got binded up inside. If you know how to pull the panel off i would do that and take a quick peek inside to see whats up.
