Hey, drive a 2000 Infiniti I30, production date 4/00. Where can I get a hold of the TSB to bring in there? And is it really worth the hassle?

the scoop...

if you drive agressively, then yes, by all means, go have it checked. However, I would suspect that you already have it. I bet the I30 got the new ones first and most maxs started showing up with the new TCM around 4/00. They can check the TCM number via diagnostics. Infinity will treat you like gold I'm sure.

like Tim said, have a tech hook up a Consultant II to your car and have him tell you the part #...if it ends in Y100 it is the older part, Y101 is the new one and yes, I can tell a difference with the newer TCM. Much firmer shifts...

FWIW my Max is a 4/00 build and it had the old TCM in it.

Good luck
