My friends mom backed into my car the other weekend and pushed in a corner of the rear bumper. I got an estimate for around $500 but I don't want to leave my car at a shop for days while they fix it. Found on ebay there are bumpers that will be painted according to your color code and sent for around $265, just wondering if anyone has tried this, wondering what kind of quality they offer. Thank you for any help!

My only concern would be whether they paint it with OEM paint to match.

 

My concern is that it won't be faded with the surrounding panels. Anyone can grab and mix the paint code but it has to be exact matched since there are differences and faded into the surround areas. A spoiler is different and you can usually get away with it, the bumper cover I dunno about. What color is the car?

 

Yeah, I didn't think about that.. it is gray lustre

 

stay away from that, it sounds great but it will be imposible to match the color, they have to blend the color in order to match it. they will need the car

I bought a pre-painted spoiler off ebay once and the paint match was awesome but the clear started coming off 2 years down the road.
