What setting do you have your shifter at? Here is what custommaxima.com says:

"adjustable from factory height down to about 2.5 inches".

Anyone know what the factory height is?

2.5 inches may be a little too short I think, that's why I wanna find out people's preferences. Also, do you have to disassemble it in order to adjust the height, or is there an easier way?

 

i have it on the shortest setting and it is not too short. its the perfect height.

read the HOW-TO stickies on top. should be on the last page.

 

I have mine set with about 1/4" of the threads showing.
