i just bought a car bra for the maxima used from the forum. i thought it would have been kinda self explanatory on how to put it on, but there are a few plastic pieces that i'm unsure of where to put, like the ones by thre headlights...

can anyone explain where these plastic pieces are supposed to be placed??

by the way this is a nissan bra. thanks.

The pieces should fold up under the fender inside the engine compartment. Kinda like they do in the airdam.

i bought mine for 60USD used. and that was 60 shipping included. i thought it was a pretty damn good deal, even if i never use it. lol.

hmmm, i don't think we are talking about the same plastic pieces. the piece i'm talking about is the plastic piece that seems to supposed to go under the headlight. but i don't want to shove it in there, cause i think it'll scratch the paint.

I haven't seen the bra on the Max but if it works like it did on my Altima is was metal covered in canvas (bra material) that you basically wedge between the bumper and grill. It should work the same on the Max. Would seem kind of crappy if it was straight plastic and not covered with material. Then again we are talking about Nissan OEM.

I own th bra, bought it new. If you need the directions I would be glad to photocopy them and send them to you. I have only used it once in three months but I love it. If you want them, PM me with your address and they will be in the mail.

I would imagine one strap goes over each arm and it hooks in the back, between the shoulders...
just like any other bra. Ask SCCA Solo2...he dresses up like a woman all the time!

are you talking about the plastic peice the is right infront of the headlight.... if so.. what I did is that I stick it right under the headlight... not sure if it's the right thing to do.. but definitly looks a lot better that way..

yeah yeah, that's the piece. it didn't scratch the paint under the headlight??? that is the only part i am unsure of, cause if i decide to not use the bra, i don't want my bumpers messed up.

yeah, knew some focker was going to say something about a woman's bra. i tried carefully to write this post. lol.

on the bumper... to make you feel better about putting it under the headlight... would you rather it scratchs (if it does) under the headlight or you rather the bra flap around and scratch up your bumper......

sorry, i was meaning to email you that i got it. i wasn't home for the initial delivery, which was like last thursday. i couldn't pick it up friday, so i had to wait over the long three day weekend. then tuesday i couldn't pick it up cause i had class all day till 5:15 and the post office was closed by then. then i had time on wednesday to pick it up. i didn't try to put it on till friday. and now it's saturday, and i'm clay-barring, polishing, waxing the car before i put on the hood part of the bra on. i'm just taking a little break.

i got hit on my bumper, so i have a dent a some scratches that aren't really noticeable except to me. that's one reason i was getting the bra, to cover that part up. but i think it looks good with just the hood part, so i'm going to ride around with just the hood part for a while.

Be careful - it will scratch the bumper right under the headlight IF IT IS DIRTY WHEN YOU PUT IT ON OR TAKE IT OFF

If it isn't dirty, it won't scratch.

More importantly, make sure you put a few coats of wax on the hood. Otherwise, when the bra gets wet, it'll screw up the hood.

Ask me how I know these things . .
