Man with many questions...2002 max
1. I don't know much about HID's. Is it expensive to replace if
one goes out? Are they bulbs like the 9004s?
2. Would it hinder performance down the road if I don't drive my
car above 60mph for the first 6000 miles? Reason being the
first month I will break the car in. After that we will have
snow and there is not way I can drive 60mph until spring comes.
So, if I drive the car gently the first 6 months will it
'grow up' to be a wimp?
3. CD-RW. Do they work in the stereo?

#2. Not going over 60mph is not going to be bad on your car, if you think pushing your engine from time to time will some how make your car better, you can just rev your engine up or exelerate quickly at a slow speed from time to time. When you rev the RPM's up it is the same as say going 150mph to the engine.
#3, no clue.

Yes, it is very unlikely they will burn out on you. You will be rid of the car before that happens. The HID bulbs use only a fraction of the wattage that a standard bulb does.

Frick & Frack had a write-up on that subject recently. Somehow people use to think that if you didnt "teach" a car how to go fast, it would remain slow. Not the case. You want to drive your car carefully for about the first 500-1000 miles depending on the car. Pay attention not to go over 3000 RPM's. This will assure proper seating in the engine and that everything is sealing accurately. Otherwise, abuse during this time can result in buring oil later on.
3. CD-RW. Do they work in the stereo?
In 6 words; Put it in and find out.

2-Just keep varying your revs
3-It doesn't work on my 2k.
