Stillen Kit

I am going to place an order for the stillen kit in the next week or so, and i was wondering what a good price for installation is. (Painting and mounting the touring front lip, sideskirts, and rear valience). I'm in school so i dont have a lot of $$, and i don't want to be ripped off.

it really depends...you pay for what you get..most of the times if the shop is not a rip off if you pay more you get a better job..i would say..ask you local body shops for a quote...I would check out the shop facilities or the cars they are working on

My guy told me $400 for the paint and install of the Touring Spoiler, Rear Valence and NINJA Sides, OR to have the whole kit molded on it would be $1,000

What do you mean by molded on?? Damn $300 seems like too good to be true. My and a buddy are going to go around to a few shops in the next few days to check out their prices, i just wanted to know what to look for... like what is reasonable and what is off the charts. I have a black car by the way, so would that matter?

Im really excited about this thing, I think the kit looks awesome!

unless you drive in a area that's very car friendly or you have a lot of body work skills (and since your asking, you probably don't).

molded kits require actual body work and make the car and the kit look like a single, smooth piece rather than 'add-on's'. the problem is a lot of people damage the kits because of the height. if you want to fix it, you can just get another lip and have it installed, but if it's molded, it's a pain to take off AND, you now have to have more bodywork done AGAIN to put the new one on or even to just remove it if it's damaged bad enough. it does look sweet, but compared to the risks? i'd rather just 'bolt on' the kit (which still looks sweet anywayz, w/o all the bodywork).

I think molding it is a good idea, looks great it's what I intend to do with mine. If you hit somthing you can bet the bumper is gonna be srewed any way you mount it so why not do it right. Also unless you have an extream drop theres not much to worry aobut.

That sounds like a good idea... How much more expensive is molding the kit on that simply bolting it on?

And does anyone know where i can see this kit on a black max? I have never seen the entire kit on a maxima, only the old stillen kit or just the front lip.

And its a long shot but......... Have any idea how i can see some pics of this thing molded on to the car?

I'm going to order this thing next week I think.
