Removing tint from tails

Since search is down I thought I would ask this. I bought a pair of tinted tail lights, I'm not sure if they are spray on tint (most likely) but what is the best way that has been found to remove it? I was thinking nail polish remover, any other ideas?

other members have done it.. there are some pics,.. if your going for the Lexus suv clear look.. imo it looks ricey as hell on a maxima,. and alot of other members on here will agree.....and they are really hard to open.. you cant bake them,.. you have to dremel them open and epoxy them shut...just so you know..
