pretty easy, jack up the car, put it on jack stands, support the engine with your jack, remove the crossmember and swap the bushings. But you'll need the picture of the installation to get the orientation of the bushings,

The question has been pretty much answered, but I'll just say that you don't have to support the motor since the drive and passenger side mounts will be holding it up. Sure, it can't hurt to be safe, but it's fine if you don't put a jack under the motor too.

Anyway, if you're doing the subframe bushings and nothing else, don't expect to feel a huge difference. They definitely help overall and they'd be good if you're doing the motor mount inserts too but you're aren't going to notice a huge change.

thanks for the help, I was gonna do this because I read somewhere that it can reduce wheel hop. and i think that's what I have. When I raise hell and shift hard or pop the clutch I have this horrible violent banging that shakes the whole car on the bottom of my feet, like someone is beating the bottom of my car with a slegehammer and it rattles everything, any suggestions on what else will help this problem, i've searched and get no straight answer. my endlinks looks fine and so does my sway bar bushings.

slip the clutch a little more while taking off, and you won't wheel hop.. as far as hopping when you shift?? i never heard of that, but my guess would be too much throttle before you let the clutch out

what will do a better job at reducing wheel hop is ES motor mounts.. but it will increase vibration at idle

^^+1 do the torque position motor mounts and the subs while you have it all out. The sub's don't do a lot, the two larger bushings will help more than the 4 smaller ones.

I actually have 2 sets of the main torque mounts and 2 sets of the subs. i ordered for some local members but they are in financial distress and no longer want them. check the classifieds, I just posted them there.
