weird noise from front left...

i noticed that there is a humming comming from the front left tire. I let off the gas and it starts humming. I apply the brake and the noise goes away. Could this the a wheel balance issue because i look in the tire and the wheel weights are no longer stuck inside the rim? Anyone got any idea?

no it s not the balance because the tire will vibrate or wiggle at high speeds,,what speed were you driving when the hum started,,,my idea is the hum may be the hub bearing,,

on the wheel bearing. You might want to jack up your car and pull on your rim left to right (pull from 3 and 9 location). If you have some play, that's a sign of a bad bearing.

Ok,
this might sound a bit dumb, but I had the same problem a few weeks ago, and all it was was a loose wheel!!! most of the lug nuts were so loose that I could turn them with my fingers easily. Kinda scary.. so yeah, It would make the noise whenever i was coasting... if I braked or accelerated it would go away... just check?
