windshield trim question

I have a 2000 gle and today i noticed that part of the trim on the outside top of the windshield has started to come off. any tips on getting it back on. i have already tried just pushing it back on without success. Thanks.

well i ended up just taking it to a local glass shop and they used some urethane and painters tape and put it back on like that. they didn't charge anything, but it is not perfect by any means but they said that the only true fix would be to take the window out and redo it like that. so this fix will work for now.
