Mixing synthetic 5w-30and 10-30 ?

When I had my oil changed they used Quaker state full synthetic 5w-30. My car is a bit of a burner and after about 3000 miles its down about a quart. All I have in my garage currently is Quaker state Horsepower 10w-30 fully synthetic oil. Just wondering if it would be safe to mix them I dont see why not but I dont want to risk it before asking.... thanks

Should be fine, 10W-30 is just a little thicker thats all.

Made it to advanced (for the sale) and all they had was 10w-40 high mileage (does mobile have other weights ). Like it matters, summers a ***** here and the engine runs hot anyway. I might resurrect this again (even though it's OT haha) when I have to change the oil again (gonna do 8k probably).

Don't they advise against switching from dyno to fully synthetic once the car has over 100k? Changing the viscosity/weight is okay?
