CF Hood - which one do you guys like?

Hey hey guys, finally ready to purchase a CF hood, and I wanted to get your opinion on which style you prefer. The choices are OEM style, or a slightly more aggressive Vader style. I've included pics of each. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks in advance!

I voted vador because it depends on what look your going for. Im also going to be installing a V-mount in the near future so Im gunna need it. Well im gunna have a local shop by the name of Unnatural inc. build the V-mount for me.

Ok, a noob question. Why would you need hood pins on the Vader and not on the OE style hood? I could care less for the two but if you insist I would stick with the OE style hood.

You should have them on both styles. The hoods are light and can come up vary easy. It says on the bottom to install hood pins because the safty latch on your car is metal and the piece on the hood is fiberglass. Mine came up and ripped right through the safty latch on the hood. I was only going 25mph so I was ok but my underwear... not so lucky. LOL J/K

OEM + Hood pins or latches. I have the VIS OEM hood, recommend to get it clearcoated at a body shop before installation. Will help its life and care. I was scared once I got it on by the flux of the fabric due to the air underneath. Didn't come up on me, but I got hood latches and they are definitely reassuring.

thanks for all the input. i was leaning more towards the OEM style, but wanted to throw in the Vader and see what kind of reception it got.

I voted for vader too. The OEM to me looks like a CF family sedan hood (kind of an oxymoron IMO). Its kind of like putting CF wind deflectors on the windows so it doesnt mess up your hair, or putting a CF baby seat in the back seat.

The vader gives more of a sports car look. I think it looks really sweet in this pic. Just my opinion though.
