bad motor mount = hard getting into gear?
bad motor mount = hard getting into gear?
Its real hard getting into gear sometimes when the cars not warmed up. Especially R and 1st. I was under my car the other day and noticed my rear motor mount was shot. Could that be my problem?
So did it do it before you changed the gear oil, or after?
it did it before and after. I think it might the be clutch not fully releasing, how can that be fixed?
If that didn't do the trick, adjust the pedal, but that's really just a temporary fix until you fix the problem.
The one in the back. Its weird now because it goes into gear smooth, and when i first did it it released off the ground. Now it doesn't.. it sometimes it randomly decides to
Okay so the morning after I adjusted the pedal. It wouldn't go into gear. Right after i would adjust it it'd be fine.. If i drive it than park it, the next morning its back to square one.. or even worse.. I was looking at the transmission and saw this. Does this look right? Is that goldish bolt thing suppose to go straight in there? Heres a pic. If anyone with a HLSD transmission can look at theres and see if its the same. or even take a pic. That'll help
Thanks in advance

Thats odd. I've never seen a copper fitting over the slave cylinder pin. The pin can get sort of noisy so maybe that was there fix. Who knows, but from what I've seen, that copper piece shouldn't be there...at least on the 5sp. Not sure about the 6sp.
I've got a new issue now.. The clutch pedal gets soft after highway driving and it engages right off the ground. A couple miles into city driving the pedal gets realll springy and engages real high, like right at the end.. is it the master cylinder thats gone bad?
anyways, whats it mean when the pedal firmness changes after driving? city driving the pedal gets real hard and engages high. After a highway drive it gets mushy and engages low.
