o.k so im on the highway driving like any normal person when all the sudden, my check engine light came on and the car started decelerating, so im like WTF??? i stopped on the side of the road and googled the problem over my phone, came up with electronic throttle chamber... started the car and the "AT CHECK" light blinked the went away, so i drove to the closest advance auto, according to the scan the P2138 code is for a Throttle position sensor... now my question is, is there anywhere else other than the stealership where i can get this part... everywhere i searched it came up with a 00-01 TPS but i now have an 02 GLE, are they both the samething??? thanks... i've searched and i couldnt find the answer

 

The code is for the APPS, not the TPS.

First thing I'd check is the connector at the sensor itself behind the pedal, see if it hasn't come unplugged. Second, do the diagnostics per the FSM.

Its crazy how i thought of the exact same thing but didnt wanna be stupid and act like a know it all and assume, i thought if when the car doesnt idle past 2500rpm or 20mph then it was a sure thing...................... didnt nissan had a recall on some 5.5 gens for this???

 

So i checked.......... No recalls on my Vin for anything........ Any suggesions on where i can find this part???

Why would you not call him? He checks the org on his own time, I wouldn't really expect anyone else to answer business questions on personal time either.
