Info on changing rear ABS/Wheel Sensor on 01 please
Info on changing rear ABS/Wheel Sensor on 01 please
I've got a Haynes manual, which is useless for this
I also have a digital/PDF copy of the 01 and 02 FSM's.
Unfortunately my copy of the 01 FSM is missing the BR.PDF (brake section), but the 02 has it.
Now my question is simple, and the FSM is confusing me. I've diagnosed the ABS light to be a code 31 (Rear Right Circuit Open).
For the 02 FSM, BR-138 has the image of the front/rear Wheel Sensor location. Thats it, no text describing removal etc, and on the same page begins the fairly complicated process of removal of the Sensor Rotor.
Are these procedures completely separate... I.E. do I simply need to remove the bolt and the sensor can be removed? Or do I need to take apart more of the hub to replace the sensor

That is all that is required to remove the sensor, and just follow it to the harness and unplug. Wheel has to be removed but that's pretty much it. The rotor might be in the way just a little but you should be able to get to it.
