Project Max finished

Some of you might have noticed my parts wanted and parting out threads. Hopefully these pics will clear things up. I bought an '02 SE 6spd damaged in front from hitting a deer. The hood, bumper, lights and bags were damaged and was a total loss. I looked into buying parts to fix it, wrecking yards wanted a lot for parts so I bought ANOTHER '02 SE 6spd to either use for parts or fix. I ended up using one Max for parts and fixing the other... I took it into the shop on Monday and got it back on Thursday. It runs and drives perfect!

3.5 ftw!

Damaged.

Fixed...

Can't believe you managed to find TWO running 02 se 6-speeds in majestic blue... I found one in about a two hundred mile radius when I was searching. Had to settle for an 00 5-speed, but it was in such good condition I couldn't pass it up (still had plastic from when it was brand new).

Nice work. I still can't believe you found both cars so close. It took me months to find one.
+2 on the rear drive. Alot of fabricating, but it would be sweet.

If you don't mind me asking, was it a lot cheaper to buy the two cars and repair one than it would have been to buy one in good condition?

Looks good.

That's some luck ha! looks like you made a decent car out of those wrecks.. How much did you pay for the parts car and whered you get it? You should part out the rest of the parts car and keep some of the other parts for replacements. You could probably make a pretty penny off a part out.
