Rear brakes systems or disks for the 2k max

Ive searched for months and had no luck on complete rear brake systems. So ive decded to get the brembo 14" x-drilled roters with 4 piston silver calipers ss brake lines pads etc for the front.

But I still want to upgrade the rear. So I was thinking I would get x-drilled roters from stillen plus the ss brake lines. and paint the rear caliper till somone has them.

Now the question:
In every picture Ive seen the stillen rear xd roters are golden in color...is this so and why? Ive seen pro stop roters on avalons site anybody know if there for the max? or is there any rear roter that is silver and nice looking...I can't just do the front ive got to do it all...thats the way I am. So don't just say do the front...

Thanks for the help if you can give it.

The gold plating will come off after the first minute of braking.

Why's it come off? What is it? And what is the point of having it on there in the first place? Will it end up like the factory brakes with rust groved in? I can't have that crap...I'm trying to have phatty brakes highlighted by by phaty wheels.

DUDE - The rotors get grIndAge from the brake padzzzzz.
It don't matta what U coat those rotors with, it gonna wear down to the bare metal no matta whut, homie.

If you want silver rotors, go have them chromed, then just downshift and don't EVER use your brakes. Or, cut a hole in the floor and pull a Fred Flintstone. Just don't touch those rotors!!!

U do relize that most good after market roters stay silver. They don't get that crapy factory look. I know they will get slightly grooved I just don't want that gold sh*t all in the grooves or on there at all.
