need some help / advice on interior lighting...

i already have white LED's in the doors/OH light/map lights/personal mirror lights/license plate/clear corners and in the trunk lol.. my question is,..
#1-im not sure if 5.5 is the same as 5th gen.. but im looking to do something with the lights that are right below the climate control that illuminate the shifter,..i see where some people put strips,.. but i want to change the bulbs.. i was wondering if anyone knew the proper bulb or if they had any advice before i go tearing through trying to figure out

#2- i want to pick up some short white ccfl type strips to put below the dash if you will,.. where you feet go,... but i would want to wire them such that they only come on when you open the doors.. i know paradox sells light up door sills and those need to be wired the same so im guessing its possible,.. any insight on how to find that wire or go about this?

thanks--Mark

1 - the lights kind of a pain to get to, most people that have done this just change the color of the stock bulb. I tried and after i got the radio out i figured it wasn't really worth it so i just colored the window..

2 - if you know how to read a wiring diagram read the fsm. you can get a screwdriver and pop the door lights out fairly easily. just look at the wire colors and then look under the steering column at where the wires come though for the door controls (its pretty obvious) and there you go
