Installed HKS axle back and am very pleased but...

I need a y pipe now.. The exhaust sounds great but the pop charger is

overpowering the exhaust, soo Im going to go for the Y pipe!! Also there

is a Safc-2 controller in the classifieds should I get that instead? I do not

have many mods other than.
17deg tim
jim wolf intake
and Axle back
fabbed up block plate. (coming off don't like the loss in low end esp with the pop charger)

Which one would help with performance more, not

that I ever really go past 4000 rpms but 3 times a week maybe.

Short Youtube clip of HKS AXLE BACK
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amj6I8_YKvI

Just 2 quick questions.

1. When I install the y pipe how long did it take for install?
2. Did anyone run into problems during install?

Thank you,

Jonathan Perk.

You're welcome. I ran a budget 'y' pipe from Canada.

Yes but only once, and I was at a stop light. They mainly go for tint in florida due to so many car shootings. But I fixed that went to the eye doctor and asked for a prescription for tint, I get headaches in the sun

Not sure if you are aware, but Cattman is making a batch of y-pipes for the 5.5 gen again. They are expected to go into production this month. If you would like to get on the preorder list, give him a call. Here is a link to the thread about it with more information:

Basically the same Price huh, Would I have to Tune afterwards and will I have codes.

I have access to a lift so intall will be sort of easy.

And: I have never changed the plugs on my car since new sooo, I may do NWP products before hand then Headers later due to the fact that the IM will be removed.

BTW: I am auto so I am not all about the drone!!!

That sounds nice, what did that run you John? I'm assuming the M/T will sound alot different? That sounds nice for a VQ35. You have access to a lift? I need to reapply a h3 6k fog...lets get into a project soon..

Hi you guys,
i purchased some hotshot headers with the y-pipe from a guy named john and i got a good deal from him a couple months back.
im really mad because i havent had a chance to install them and i dont have a lift so that makes my installation a bit harder.
I just received my O2 sim yesterday, i wanna do this job myself but without a lift and a narrow driveway seems impossible.
Any suggestions on where i can install them?

Post in the southwest forum on the site here. There is a section on the bottom of the main page. GL get before and after numbers if you can.
