I have a 2001 GXE. I read some where that top speed was only 108mph due to it being limited by the ecu because of the tires. Can I swap a SE ecu for my GXE? I would also like to know if this car is capable of running 12s with nitrous. Remember it's a GXE automatic.

I have a 2000 GXE with no performance mods and my top speed has been
125mph (I'm sure I could do more but ya know )

 

Ya, my 2k1 GXE has seen a hair over 120 with plenty more pull quite a few times. stock. i dunno...

 

I have a 00 GXE, and have had it up to 137 while racing an Audi A6. It was still accelerating ( the Audi had dropped off @ about 110) at that speed. Only mods are 17" Koenigs, FSTB, K&N Filter Charger, Fog lamps, shortened shift linkage.

 

Iwant to add a 100 shot of NOS.....Can that put me in the 13s?

i went up to 125, chickened out after that check out webpage for mods, and if your interested in mods such as NOS our engine can handle up to 100 shot i think just not the tranny
