I was on my daily commute to work when I'm pulling up to a stop light in the middle lane...and the first thing i notice in the right lane is the ugly flipping taillamps of the 2002 on a beige SE. Gag at the taillamps but i yearn for the torque again...but, something was weird about the SE, the badges were black. As far as i'm aware, the 2002 SE's had chrome badging...

Not thinking much of it. I look straight ahead and see a black 3rd gen. looked kinda beat up. Makes me sad to see cars looking like Rahman after a boxing match with Lewis. I didn't know what trim it was.

In the left lane, sat a white GXE 4g!? What the? I drove up to an intersection full of maximas!

Light turns green, and I follow the flow of traffic keeping my eye on the "2002"... come to find out, it was a 2000-2001 with 2002 taillamps.

It was an interesting morning...

I had a 7-series BMW try to race me. That was weird. Anyone else ever pull up to a light and find three generations of any particular model just hanging out?

 

That has happened to me before... I have seen 3rd gen, 4th gen, and 5th gen max all in a line at a light....

 

On the freeway... 3rd, 4th, and 5th (not including me), but never at a light yet.

 

On the freeway too... 3rd & 4th Gen flew by me racing... then my 5th Gen joined them.

 

...at a Nissan meet on saturday...

 

Man I dont know about that 3rd gen........ looks kinda.......

All we need at one place is a second gen.

For me, this is a common occurrence. When I am travelling I-294, I am usually rolling past, leading, or shadowing 4th Gens and the occasional 5th Gen or 3rd Gen.

But my job is a different story. There is an engineer that has a 3rd Gen that is an exact twin of mine. Then there is a 5th Gen SE, an i30t, and a pearl white 3rd Gen and another blue 3rd Gen. There have been times where I parked my 3rd Gen next to the engineer's (PM me for a humorous story relating to that). Others, my 3rd Gen has been near the i30t and the 5th Gen. There was a day where my 3rd Gen, a 4th Gen(the i30t), and the 5th Gen were all in a row.

 

one night heading home. . .i was driving and i notice a 2k2 behind me coming up. . .a 2k/2k1 se and a freaking ae. . .i was like damn. . wtf was going on??? am i missing a maxima meet or something. . .kewl thing is we took up all 4 lanes. . .hehehe....and when we got to the light. . .it was a bunch of old ppl driving the cars. . .lol. . .and ppl driving by and just looking at us. . .it was kinda funny and kewl at the same time. . .

Taking my friend home today on US I-30.
The road that leads Missouri to Texas. I saw about 4 truck loads of altimas, frontiers, and xterras.
Damn I should have done some fast and furious stuff.

And while in Dallas I saw about 8 differnt 99 SE-L's rolling around.
Plus I saw a 1st gen and a 1st gen station wagon all in this week.
Anyways just to throw that in.

Once i was at a light.
Vicki, 3rd gen, 2 4th gen and 1 other 5th gen. I kinda looked around they they were looking too. Of course I peeled out and they never followed

 

hehehe. . . guess what i saw tonite. . .5 5thgen in the same parking lot. . .hehehe. . umpopa and I were there, then there was a black 01 w/universal exhaust, a stock gxe sunlit sand, and a gle sunlit sand. . .hehehe. . damn! ! !. . . .

 

i have this 'thing' i say everytime i see maxima, 5th gens, its kinda lke "WestSide" like IceCube but i say "Maxxxxiiimaaa" and once i saw a truck load of AE Maxes, im pretty sure they were AE cuz they all had the AE rims, but i was spittn "Maxxxxiiimaaa" so many damn times when i saw em, i musta sounded like i was insane by the time i finished

Actually in my appartement block there is one 3rd gen, two 4th Gens (one is mine) and one 5th gen. We usually end up parking within one or two spots of each other.

The car in the worst condition though is the other 4th gen. The owner has not taken care of that max at all Add to it he has added the worlds ugliest chrome rims available.

 

Lots of Max's in Montreal- 3rd gen. on- very popular up here...
