The 4th gen Y should bolt up to the 5th gen but the hanger locations are different, IIRC.

As for the 5.5th, no.

How bout a 5.5gen to a 5th gen? I am talking about header/ypipe combo.

For a set of headers that include a Y, yes, it'll fit the A32, A33, and A33B.

Depending on quality and fitment of the aftermarket parts, of course.

I thought the 4th gen came with EGR ports on the header manifold?

Indeed they do (depending on choice, anyway), but from what I've seen on the A33B, it shouldn't get in the way of anything. IIRC they all come with plugs in them anyway, right out of the box. If not, you can get the block off plug from Courtesy for ~$5.

Can you provide side by side picture comparison? I didn't think thier ypipes were the same or configured the same with the first hangar!

Too much of a PITA for me on a slow connection, but a search can. Yes, IIRC the hangers for the Y are slightly different, but people have used headers interchangeably for a while now.

I have the 4th gen headers on my 5.5, Cattmans to be specific, it cost about 7 bucks for the plug for the EGR bung.

all cattman headers have room for the primaries, it's the secondaries you have to figure out, whether you have a 4th or a 5th gen
