Anyone have paint matching problems?
I'm going to get an 03 bumper painted to match my 01 maxi and the guy keeps saying that the whites won't match etc etc. Has anyone had a decent paint job? Or are we to expect a mis match no matter what.

If they're saying that, then go to a different shop. I had a "flash red" 88 Dodge Daytona and had to get a front fender re-painted. The car was 2 yrs old and the first shop gave me a reddish burnt orange paint job.
I went to a different shop, they put some sort of paint spectre light measuring device on my car's hood and matched it perfectly. I paid an extra $50 bucks but it was a perfect match. So I know first hand that it can be done.
This was in 1990 in North Carolina and since then paint shops and their color matching techniques have come a long way. Find another shop.
