Also I have searched and searched and cannot find a sufficient how to for the install. I think SR20Den did it and posted one but I cannot find it. I am currently in Iraq so INET resources are not great. Seems the cost of labor may equal the cost of a new tranny. Doesn't seems like a very sound investment for a car with 100K miles.

Thanks,

Well, I personally wouldn't ever work on my trans. I just get worried about messing up something that important. Check around at a local trans shop. One around here wanted like $500 for a clutch job, seemed reasonable to me - Never asked about an LSD though. It might be better if you just bought a used 6th gen trans with the LSD or the Spec V trans and swap the bell housings.

If I wanted the LSD, I would definitely get one of the transmissions listed above, especially because of the infamous 3rd gear crunch.
