TURBOCHARGER on my CAR ?!?!

I've been looking into a lot of threads about getting a turbocharger or a supercharger and found out that the superchargers f up the car later, when i cannot find is a link for a place where i can get a good turbocharger, and please tell me the prices after it.

DO you think i should get it for the car or not? i have an 02 GLE with a bunch of mods, please tell me its pros and cons if you already know, and tell me if it will have a negative effect later on the car

I did all the searching already but i want to come up with a conclusion

those are some of the mods that i already got:

rear sway bar
front strut tower brace
timing advance 17 degree
berk short ram intake /apexi filter
NWP Thermal Intake Spacer
Nopi EVO2 catback exhaust system
AE pedals

Thanks

Get a tornadocharger instead.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/INTAK...Q5fAccessories
If you search, you would know it's been proven and every member got one installed and it works like a tornado!

haha. Yea bro. PLEASE don't buy that thing. Search the forced induction section. Read up on the turbo kits. Lots of pros and cons there. It's NOT cheap at all man.

The 12 second run in my sig was with 2 of the tornadochargers in series. I ran 14.2 without it! If you can afford it, and if you can relocate the battery to make room, get 3-5 of them. They each add about 7% hp, so you could have alot when you're done if you stack enough of them.

Seriously I hope you were joking with this thread. IBTL

What do you have for mods? The best place to search for info is the forced induction forum. And with what did you compare to a S/C 3.5? Your posts have been very vague and seem to be without research. I'm all for doing mods but something like forced induction REQUIRES knowledge of how it all works. Do your research for your own sake.

Dude the tornadocharger is a joke. Don't buy it. hahah please don't buy it. The turbocharger is probably going to be anywhere from 5-10 grand depending on how you build the motor. Just do a search in the forced induction section.

Dude seriously....you aren't ready. Mentally.... it takes a LOT more than just bolting it on. Tons of down time, random issues all the time, LOTS of money. It takes a lot more than you think.

I also heard you can put a 80mm CPU fan in the intake so there's no lag at all. After weeks of researching, it's probably the cheapest and safest way to boost. I think you should be the first one to put the tornado and CPU fan combo and see what kind of numbers you can get on a dyno!

And you cant drive car backward because of reverse boost.
http://cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=118899

just go to any repable shop and throw $8k on the table and I'm pretty sure they can piece a kit for you.

what happened to the day when someone asks question on a forum, and ppl were acctually trying to help others and look out for their best interests. but now you just get a bunch of sarcastic d!cks trying to make themselves look better than you. Isnt this here to support each other and not try to belittle the guy with less experience or knoledge about something.
soo lame
and thats my rant

Maybe because this information could be found by just looking around?

You don't even have to search, just read through the FI subforum a little.

It's a topic that has been covered countless times, and yet he poses the question yet again.
