Trying to find speed sensor, HELP!

im trying to find that speed sensor for a 2000 max automatic. I was told that it was on the transmission near the firewall. The shop is trying to charge $80 to install it. I just need to know where exactly it is if anyone knows. I tried searching and nothing came up, so if someone had some info on it i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Could you clarify what this speed sensor is for?

Are you referring to the VSS?

It should be in a harness behind the instrument cluster.

EDIT: That is for the wire. I'm not sure where the actual sensor is.
