But after hitting 30K I decided what the hell and put the Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner in. As a test I ran my car real hard a couple times, then with it almost on empty I put the cleaner in my tank, then filled up with 93 octane. Now as said earlier I could be on crack but that ***** seemed quicker, it really seemed to respond better. I hit second really hard, a nice power chirp. BTW people with manuals and parts, can you chirp third gear?

 

Ya I have chirped into third twice on cold nights. Very lil chirp though almost a beep.

 

Yeah, put some in due H2O in some bad fuel. 2 tanks later I swear its pulling harder

 

I could be on crack too (actually, that's very likely! ), but isn't fuel injector clearner stuff not recommended for use on the Maxima and I thought I remembered reading that the manual warns against using the stuff??

I can, but mine's a 2k2 with 6spd Second gear roll ons will easily light up the front end.

Same here, '02 6 spd. with 300 miles on it, floor it in 2nd., lift to shift at 6,000 and floor it in 3rd. means more than just a chirp, it actually puts down some rubber.
