The mirror in my 03 cracked. A friend of mine told me i can just replace the gl***. Also it is a TE.. Do those have a heated mirror? Does that mean i need to buy a heated gl***?

 

If you have heated seats/steering wheel then your mirrors are heated.
Look at rockauto.com. I believe they sell just the gl*** part so that you don't have to buy the whole thing and get it painted.

 

And I think it's ridiculous we can't say gl***...lol.

Do you have to remove the door panel to replace just the gl***? I need to relace my gl*** as well and did not want to go through the trouble of removing the door panel. Is there a way to just remove the cover? I read where someone else asked the question, but no one answered.

 

Huh???...glass? class? mass? compass? grass?....
+1 on Rockauto.com; it is a good starting point if you just want to replace the glass.
