I wouldn't let an oil filter go without changing for 10k miles let alone 30k notwithstanding how long it takes the oil to breakdown or otherwise need changing.

wrong section,... and its prob half bs and half legit,.. but i personally wouldnt want any oil no matter what it is capable of longer, then 4-5 K miles... but the sad part is that something of that design is prob the future only due to the fact that the larger side of society is lazy and would rather never have to do any sort of maintenance, they would prefer to never do anything to or for a car except turn a key and drive.. and thats why the larger part of america is obese... enough of that tangent.... just my .02

No Thanks!

I've never been big on extended oil changes and synthetic oils.

All my oil changes (using dino oil) have been done by my dealer at 5,000 mile intervals. I get a free 28 point inspection, car wash, and they vacuum the interior for around $35. My 2002 GLE has 202K on it and just passed the California emissions testing with almost no detectable levels of pollutants.

Oil gets dirty, the detergents in the oil break down, the filter gets dirty. I'll stick with regular oil changes.

i call BS, i dont think any type of filtration material would last that long without breaking down and floating inside your motor.

You don't think filter media can last 10K miles?

A bypass and full flow filter in a single, replaceable housing.
Brilliant!
